Retail Property for Lease? We Offer Property Management and Leasing Services
October 06, 2014
What brings popular stores to Houston? Is it the success of the area or is it the success of the business. It's a bit of both. The Houston Business Journal has reported that Stag, the men's clothing store that began in Austin and has since been featured in magazines such as Esquire and GQ, is expanding to Houston in the coming months. It will also open a store in Dallas. A Stag store has already opened in Venice, California.
The 3,200 square-foot Houston location, in the high-end retail area of Westheimer Road, will open in 2015, the article stated. According to co-owner of Stag, Steven Shuck, said that the type of property that is sought for the company is one in which there is heavy foot traffic and the company's employees can feel as though they're part of a neighborhood. The location is larger than that of the original store in Austin, which provides extra space in which the company can expand its offerings of modern workware as well as vintage style flannel, denim, and leather goods. The store also sells footwear and grooming supplies.
