3 Key Considerations When Looking for Office Space for Lease
October 13, 2015
Regardless of whether you are looking to start a new business or you are looking to relocate to a larger office space, there are a few things you need to consider when securing new office space for lease. Take some time to go through the following before making a final decision on which space is right for you.
1. Location, location, location.
While location might seem obvious, people tend to overlook it when choosing a new location. Many end up going with one option because it might be cheaper, without considering the fact that they could be costing themselves business in the long run. Your location should be convenient for your current and potential customers and employees, otherwise, you are simply wasting your time and money.
2. Consider the future.
Just because you might be a small startup company now, that doesn't mean you are going to stay that way forever. Consider which location is going to allow you to expand and grow into the budding enterprise you plan on becoming in the future. Don't think about the here and now; think about where you are going in the next 10 years.
3. Ease of access for client base.
Make sure your new office space is easily accessible for customers. You don't want to choose a location that has 20 stairs if you are running a physical therapy practice and dealing with individuals recovering from major accidents. Choose an office space based on the type of clients you serve.
