Do You Have Retail Space to Lease? Landlord Representation Services Can Help
July 21, 2014
Houston has been gaining a number of new eating establishments lately, including five Torchy's Tacos, the Houston Business Journal recently reported. The Austin-based taco chain announced that the second location outside of the 610 Loop would open in mid-September. This newest location is in the Vintage Marketplace in northwest Houston. Two other locations have been opened in the past year, including one in the historic Harolds building.
Also located in the Vintage Marketplace is the new Whole Foods Market location, as well as a Stone Massage and Facial Spa.
A number of other eateries have opened in Houston in recent months, including Pluckers Wing Bar, Mama Fu's Asian House, and Verts. Construction on the Doc's Motorworks restaurant began in March.
It was also recently announced that a Microsoft full-line retail store has opened in Houston's Galleria at the Woodlands Mall. In September, a Nordstrom department store will also be opening at the Woodlands Mall.
New stores, restaurants, and businesses opening in mixed use buildings hint at the healthy retail economy of the Houston area.
